Meet Bob
Bob Morrison joined the Auxiliary in 2011 after a 38-year career in financial services and seven years running a small non-profit organization. His interest in community service extended throughout his working career as he volunteered with United Way and Junior Achievement B.C. He was also a Board member of the Nanaimo Harbourfront Society and President of the Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce. Bob is pleased that his experience in finance and management has been of help to the Auxiliary. Particular goals included creating a solid working database, standardizing office and training procedures, and achieving significant expense reductions. Bob was a director for both the Auxiliary and the LGH Foundation. He Previously shared the co-president position with Aren Evers. Bob is married and has two grown daughters and two granddaughters. He enjoys motorcycling, cycling, hiking and golf. Bob retired from the Board in 2019.
