As one the Board’s newest members, Keith Stannard brings valued skills and a welcome presence. Recruited by his predecessor, longtime Auxiliary Treasurer Ian McIntosh, Keith assumed these financial responsibilities in June of 2017. From 1976 to 1979, Keith was an Assistant Accountant at Lions Gate Hospital and an Accountant at the Squamish General Hospital from 1979 to 1990. Since then, he’s held various positions, the last of which was as Accounting Clerk with the Coast Foundation Society from 2004 to 2016. He has also completed an Advanced Business Administration Certificate Program and a two-year diploma in Accelerated Computer Systems Management. Keith greatly enjoys volunteering. He was an auxiliary policeman in England for six years and currently helps out at the United Church thrift shop in North Vancouver. His spare time pursuits include taking photos of his favourite public transport systems, working on his home, gardening, and spending time with his two daughters.
