Meet Fatehali
Fatehali Janmohamed and his family emigrated from Nairobi, Kenya to Calgary, Alberta in early 1975. He was fortunate to start his career with ATCO, as a Manager of Accounting and Assistant Property Manager. After 28 years of service, and several additional years of contract work, he began volunteering at the Calgary hospital in the Oncology department. Fatehali moved to Vancouver in November 2010 to be near his daughter and son-in-law, after the loss of his wife. Within three months, he started volunteering at Lions Gate Hospital and in 2013 was appointed as an Auxiliary Board director and assistant to the treasurer. Fatehali’s passions include volunteering at Lions Gate Hospital and also within the Ismaili community. This has given him immense happiness and gratitude for the friends and connections he’s made at the hospital and on the North Shore. Fatehali retired from the LGH Auxiliary Board in December 2021
